With this years Cake International show kicking off on Friday the 6th of November running until the 8th of November, organisers are claiming it to be the best yet!
With crowd favourites such as Alan Dunn, Lindy Smith and Paul Bradford selling and signing books over the three days, it will be the first year where Eddie Spence MBE will have his own stand. This is a great opportunity to see the master of royal icing do his thing.
Some of the stands I’m really looking forward to checking out would have to be Dinky Doodle Designs (as at every show they really take it one step further), The Cake Decorating company (being so innovative and in touch with the progression of designs) and Cake Masters (just because there is always something pretty cool to interact with).
With all of the carnage of the show being one of the biggest in the world, who could forget about the Cake Masters Awards on the Saturday night!
This year it is a black tie event (which doesn’t sit too well with my husband might I add…) and me being me, I always feel so nervous for all of the nominees even though I am lucky enough to be a judge this year (I don’t know the winners by the way) :(…..
All in all, it should be a great weekend, and I can’t wait to tell you who will win the best dressed award.
Will there be a best dancing award? we will have wait and see……
